Queries for a queer copywriter

How would you describe your copy style?

I like to say that my copy is witty, personable, and well-informed. Stylistically I lean more towards a scientific copywriting method, but with the creativity and joy popularized by Leo Burnett.

What's your favorite thing to work on?

I love working on headlines, emails, and 360 campaigns.

How do you highlight accessibility and community in your work?

I believe that customers, whether potential or existing, should always be treated as intelligent, and my copy reflects that belief. I strive to never talk down to anyone reading my work and prioritize simple, easy-to-understand language, or actively make space to define complicated or unexpected terms. For me, copy is a safe space, and I want to make others feel that, too.

You've jumped around a lot.

Yes, I have. While I have been impacted by layoffs, contracts ending, and companies losing funding, I am proud to hold myself, my work, and the companies and clients I work for to a very high standard. In short, I have a zero-tolerance policy for toxic workplaces and non-inclusive environments.
